Learn how to navigate your Pyramid content using a mobile device. This topic describes how to access content using the Recent, Favorites, and Suggested views, or the Content Explorer, how to view and manage feeds like Alerts and Publications, and how to use search, sort, filter, and refresh functions.
Note: These mobile views are a sub-set of the Content Manager functionality that you access on your desktop. Home page
From the mobile app Home page (green arrow below), you can switch between Recent, Favorites, and Suggested (auto-recommended) views using the tabs along the top of the panel (purple highlight):
- The type indicator bar (green highlight above) identifies whether your content items are discoveries (green) or presentations (red).
- Click a content item of either type to open it (yellow arrow).
Content Explorer
Click the Folder icon (blue marker above) to open the Content Explorer, where you can access the content items that you have access to in your My Content, Group (Workgroup), and Public folders.
Searching the Folders
Click Search at the bottom of the Content Explorer (orange arrow below) to display a search field at the top of the page. Type your search term into the field and click Go or Return to display the search results across all accessible content:
Feeds
Click the Pin icon at the bottom of the home page to go to the feeds, where you can click the options along the overhead menu to view any Alerts, Subscriptions, or Publications.
Where there are new Alerts, Subscriptions, or Publications for you to look at, you will see a notification "badge" on the Pin icon. The number on the badge indicates how many notifications have been received but not yet looked at. When the number goes above a maximum, a plus + symbol is used to indicate that there are more unread notifications than the maximum number.
Basic Functions
Sort
Toggle the A-Z icon to sort the visible content items by alphabetical order and then reverse alphabetical order.
Filter
Click the Filter icon to filter the list by content type (show discoveries, presentations, or both).
Refresh
Click Refresh to refresh the current page.
Context Menu
Click the Ellipsis at the top-right to open the context menu, where you can access Settings, Help Materials, and Logout options.
